Blake and I were supposed to take today to go to the zoo however as fate would have it, it began pouring rain as soon as we were about to walk out the door. Had it been sprinkling we might have considered braving the zoo, but this was a full on thunderstorm. We had to try to find things to do in the house, so we played with the umbrella, and played the drums on a muffin pan. After a while the rain let up, and our friendly neighbors (the squirrels) were playing outside our front door. They approached us cautiously and looked at us expectantly. Blake and I like to toss food to them from time to time. I guess they decided that we appeared to be relatively safe because they came pretty close to us. Blake loves watching them play. I guess we didn't need to go to the zoo after all.
