Homer

Blake is starting to talk now which is so much fun but anyway, the other night Blayne and I were asking him to say certain words for us. We were asking him to say words like:

table

chair

horse

dog

duck

pig

shrek

grandpa

grandma

dad

etc.

well when it came time for Blake to say "mommy" he just wouldn't do it. We kept trying and trying to get him to say mommy... but instead he said "Britt".  Blayne laughed about it because for those of you familiar with the Simpsons, there is a flashback episode when the Simpsons are younger where baby Bart won't say "daddy" he says "Homer" naturally Homer is upset about this. So Blake has decided that I am not mommy, I'm Britt. I did finally hear him say mommy the other night, but it was attached to the word "boobie" (yes he is still nursing at night :(  )and Blake was crying. So apparently the only time that he will say mommy is when he is angry or hungry.
