Learning to Eat Like a BIG BOY!

So Blake has decided to gain some independence and start feeding himself. So far this has turned out to be quite messy (not that I expected anything less). He started out refusing to eat what I gave him and would grab the spoon of fork out of my hand. Okay... whatever! As long as he is eating something. He has however decided that a favorite part of meal time is throwing half of his food on the floor. What purpose does this serve? He's not even watching it drop, he's staring at other things, not even looking at his food. It's like he's actually trying to make my day harder then it needs to be! I keep finding crusted noodles and milk, have digested fruit snacks, and dried up cereal in places that I could have sworn I'd scrubbed up days ago. Lets not even go into what I find when I change his diaper. I guess it's all part of the experience of motherhood right?

I see what I have to look forward to! I love the little game of take a bite of the apple and then spit it on the floor! Too funny, but I'm sure a pain to clean up after. I'm glad you got some pictures up.

great pictures! Sometimes I really hesitate to let Abby feed herself because we have carpet under our table, but then I realize that I just have to let her do it. It's a hassle to clean up, but she really isn't too messy anyway.
